In this event videography tutorial I share tips for highlight sequence editing of a corporate event with many speakers on stage.

When I am editing highlight sequences I like to think in micro stories with each section having a start middle and end or even shorter, just a cause and effect, this builds the bigger picture whilst having extra detail to tie the bigger 2 minute edit together better.

Your filming job as an event videographer for a 2 minute highlight video is to showcase visuals of a range of speakers and networking at an event and you need to move quickly through the video but you still want to communicate a vibe, you can use the strategy and tips in this video to know the key elements to capture and what combination can work well when editing.
